FAQ

Will the PawHerd Harness Actually Stop My Dog From Pulling?

For most dogs, yes, within the first two or three walks. The front-clip design redirects forward momentum sideways instead of letting your dog drive straight into the leash, which is what causes the classic freight-train pull. It's not a shock collar or a punishment tool. It works with steering, not pain.

What Size Should I Order?

Measure around the widest part of your dog's rib cage, just behind the front legs. Check that number against our size chart on the product page. When a dog is between two sizes, we generally recommend sizing down for a snugger, more secure fit, since a loose harness is the most common reason a dog backs out of it.

Is It Safe for Dogs Who Back Out of Their Collar?

This is exactly the situation PawHerd was built for. The dual-clip design and adjustable chest strap mean there's no single point of failure. Dogs who can slip a collar or a single-clip harness have a much harder time backing out of this one.

How Do I Clean It?

Hand wash in cold water with a mild soap, then air dry. Skip the washing machine and the dryer. Heat breaks down the webbing and the stitching faster than regular use ever will.
